About Hannah

I joined the Research and Student Engagement Team in 2025. My principal responsibilities include managing our Student Fellows Programme – which provides bursaries for students working with us on various events and placements – and supporting students in the Creative and Digital Industries through our in-house publication, Folio. In addition, I collaborate with the rest of the RSE team on our 360 Inclusivity Council, supporting students as they organise events and initiatives, and assist in organising a range of research opportunities for students, such as the Student Research Conference.

Before joining NCUC, I completed my MA in English Literature at Newcastle University, where I focused on themes of power and belonging across a range of literary texts. I am particularly interested in interwar novels, women writers, and children’s literature.
